DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our 27th Annual Arts on the Avenue Festival! We are celebrating art\, all kinds of art\, on August 24th\, 2025 with our Arts on the Avenue Show & Sale. It will be bigger and better this year!. It all takes place on Ladysmith historic 1st Avenue from Warren St to Buller St.  Early on Sunday morning\, artists gather with coffee in one hand and original art in the other\, ready for you.  This art show and sale is an art collector’s dream.  Wander the street and see what artists have brought this year. From original paintings\, jewelry\, fabric art\, carving\, Indigenous-made art and more\, you will not be disappointed.  Enjoy live music throughout the day\, a youth art zone\, paint competition and art demos.​New this year! Enjoy delicious food from Mizu Real Fruit Ice Cream and Victoria BC’s authentic Greek n’ Go\, along with local eateries in town.The Ladysmith Downtown Business Association presents the annual Sidewalk Sale and will host a beer garden during the event by Bayview Brewing.
