About Kaitlin Jayne West

I am a visual artist that enjoys working with many types of mediums. I enjoy watercolor painting and ceramics the most, as I find these particularitly relaxing and the materials are lovely to work with. I am always trying to push my comfort zones to learn more about the digital media side of things. I am hoping to persue 3D modeling in programs like Blender and animation in Adobe Animate. While I focus a lot on my personal fine art work, I am always interested in freelance commissions and hope to find myself employment in the animation or games industry one day.

I have a Diploma in Visual Arts from Vancouver Island University. Any free time is spent working at an animal hospital or hanging out with my cats, dog, and ball python. I am fortunate enough to live on a lovely farm that I know provides me with a lot of inspiration for my work.
