PRE-ORDER – Custom Pet Portrait Mug

Turn your beloved companion into a work of art you can hold! This listing is for a custom pet portrait mug pre-order, created from your photos and the details you share about your animal. Each mug features an original illustration designed just for you, whether your companion is a cat, dog, bird, reptile, horse, or something else entirely! Each design is an original artwork, with the option to include a special setting like favourite plants, cozy corners, or a place they love. Please note that all designs are created in my personal art style and are interpreted at my artistic discretion. I will do my best to colour match to your pet, but glazes can be unpredictable in the kiln and may reveal interesting results!

Mugs are wheel-thrown and feature a hand-carved design using the sgraffito technique (black & white), or a full colour palette. Sgraffito mugs are carefully carved to reveal fine illustrated lines with a softly textured surface that feels beautiful to hold. Full colour mugs follow the same carving process, then each section is delicately filled with glaze using a fine needle applicator, bringing your pet to life in rich, painterly colour. Sgraffito mugs are finished with a glossy clear glaze on the outside and all mugs have a glossy liner glaze inside.

  • Any setting you’d love included (garden, flowers, favourite spot, toys, etc.)
  • Or leave it up to me for a little artistic magic ✨
• Send reference photos:
  • Email 3–5 clear images to [email protected] (or share their Instagram)
  • Make sure markings, colours, and features are visible
  • Let me know if there’s a specific photo you’d like me to use for the main design
